Last year Genc Selimi was stopped at the airport in Istanbul due to the lack of an exit stamp from the country he was flying in, Pristina, the Kosovo's capital city. Later in November 2013, under the terrorism involvement allegations he was arrested and brutally beaten from the Police in Kosovo. Kosovo media unverified reports says he fought alongside al-Qaeda and ISIS, Islamic Terrorist groups. Upon his return to Kosovo, he was arrested and remained in custody, although no evidence was found to confirm the prosecution. The family denounces police violence against, but Ombudsman legitimised it. In the picture left is his sister Genta with Genci’s little daughter on the right in picture is his second sister wearing Islamic scarf. © Laura Aggio Caldon/phovea
